Location: Lewdown, Okehampton
Hidden away in a wooded hollow just beneath the wild tors of Dartmoor, Lewtrenchard Manor is a house virtually untouched by time. The original manor was mentioned in the Domesday Book, but today’s impressive Jacobean dwelling, set in its own shrub filled gardens and surrounded by peaceful parkland, dates from the early 1600’s.
Lewtrenchard Manor has a full wedding licence and offers plenty of choice as to how you can arrange your day, from an intimate ceremony on the Gallery followed by a champagne reception on the lawn, to exclusive hire of the Manor with a gastronomic feast in a marquee, set in the magnificent gardens. Whether it’s a traditional or modern, relaxed or formal, large or small, winter or summer wedding, their dedicated wedding coordinators are on hand to guide you through the planning of your perfect day, from start to finish.
