Devon's New and Exciting Venue - Lukesland Gardens
We have teamed up with Lukesland House to bring you a new and exciting venue for wedding receptions, parties, concerts, and many other events.

Lukesland House and Gardens
Lukesland Gardens, described in the Good Gardens Guide as ‘one of the finest gardens of its type in the South West’, has 24 acres of flowering shrubs, rare trees and wild flowers. The gardens lie in the beautiful valley of the Addicombe Brook, which cascades down from Dartmoor through ponds and over waterfalls towards the River Erme. At Lukesland the acid Dartmoor soil and mild climate of South Devon provide ideal conditions for a fine collection of camellias, rhododendrons and azaleas, some dating back to the original Victorian planting.
Lukesland is also conveniently located just outside Ivybridge and is therefore ideally placed to serve both Plymouth and the South Hams.
The Venue
The venue is a marquee which will be 12 metres wide, by up to 24 metres long. The marquee is located close to the house and events will only be held on days when the gardens are not open to visitors.
The gardens provide a fantastic backdrop for photographs, and guests will be able to explore the gardens at their leisure. There is nearby parking and disabled access to the marquee.
Another advantage of this venue is that you are free to choose your own caterer as Lukesland does not offer any catering services. If you prefer, we are able to arrange caterers for you.
Availability for 2007
The marquee at Lukesland Gardens will be available to hire for wedding receptions and events from the 2nd of June, 2007 through to the 1st July. The marquee will be available for 1 event each Saturday and for 2 events mid-week.
