Marquee Event Management - Let Us Do the Work!

We are able to offer you a complete marquee event management service as well as simply providing you with a marquee for your event. As part of this service, we can arrange as little, or as much, of the event as you require.

Marquee events are unique in that they are normally bespoke venues set up purely for one special event. With all the benefits that this brings, it also means that marquee events have many additional aspects that need organising. It can also make organising the event more stressful as the venue won't actually exist until a couple of days before the event!

All of this means that it can make sense to leave the organisation of the event to a company that specialises in marquee event management.

At Hatch Marquee Hire we have 16 years experience in organising marquee events, combined with a company that is run by a former Commercial Director of a Football Club, and a Corporate Partnerships Manager of a large company. The Services that We Provide

We are happy to manage as little, or as much, of your event as you require. As part of our normal marquee service we will provide everything that is required in terms of :

- The marquee itself
- Power to the marquee
- The lighting of the marquee
- Furniture for the event
- Toilets for the event

Our Marquee Event Management Service can then arrange everything else for you, including :

- Finding you an appropriate venue for your event and the marquee
- Finding you a caterer for your event
- Providing all the necessary catering facilities for the caterer as well as china, linen etc
- Providing a bar for the event
- Providing entertainment including bands, DJ's, Casinos etc
- Finding you a florist
- Finding you an MC or Toastmaster
- Theming the whole event, from invitations through to the marquee itself
- Anything else that you want arranging! (within reason!)

How the Marquee Event Management Service Works

1. Analyse Your Needs

We prefer to meet up with you (at no cost to yourself) at the start of the process to find out as much about the proposed event as possible. Whilst this would include the more obvious things such as the date, numbers of guests etc, we are also very keen to understand the style, feel and atmosphere required. We will also discuss exactly which parts of the event you want us to manage and the approximate budget that you are working to.

2. Evaluate the Options

We will then go away and quickly work on establishing the best marquee solution for the event. If we are looking for a venue on your behalf then we will seek to provide you with a short list of appropriate options, depending on the paramaters that you have laid out.

At this stage we would provide you with a fully costed draft proposal, where we endeavour to highlight all the possible/likely costs, and offer suggestions as to how the budget can be most effectively allocated. This proposal would also be supported by a drawing of the layout of the marquee, along with photos of the key features.

Where the event requirements fall outside of our core areas of expertise, we will pull in outside organisations to provide you with the very best options.

Once you have reviewed the initial proposals, we will then discuss your thoughts and adapt our plans accordingly. Amended proposals and consultation will then follow, until you are happy that everything is right and that we are the right company for you.

3. Plan the Event

Equipment is provisionally booked along with any sub-contracters that we will be using

More detailed plans are drawn up incorporating the requirements of caterers, bands etc and from this a thorough power audit is drawn up.

At this stage risk assessments are carried out ensuring that all health and safety, fire and environmental health issues are addressed.

4. Deliver on our Promises

The build of the marquee will be managed by one of our experienced and accredited foremen. We actively communicate with all sub-contracters and involved parties to ensure that the project is delivered with teh minimum fuss.

We like to build contingencies into our schedule so that any problems (such as adverse weather conditions) do not disrupt the event.

Your Marquee Event Manager will be present at the event to ensure that your event is a success.

5. Review the Event

After each event, we carry out both internal and external reviews to try and obtain ideas on how we can improve any area of our marquee event management.
