Cornwall Wedding Marquee in Rock
We were asked to supply a marquee for Rachel and Oscar’s wedding being held in a marquee field site in the coastal fishing village of Rock, Cornwall. It’s a site that we have been to previously and it has fab views over the very picturesque Camel estuary – a perfect location for a marquee wedding.
The marquee layout was planned to suit Rachel and Oscar’s plans for their day, with a dining and dance area along with a clear roofed marquee bubble creating a bar/reception which really made the most of the views on offer. During the daytime a curtain separated the dining and dance floor area which was then raised for the evening to reveal the black star cloth roof linings over a black and white dance floor – party time! The reveal curtain is a great way to separate areas into different zones and enables you to add a little surprise to the evening celebrations, especially if you are using star cloth. It also allows bands or dj’s to set up without being on show to all your guests.
Whilst we think the marquee looks great (but we are a bit geeky when it comes to marquees!) the stars of the day are really the bride and groom and we love this stunning photo of Rachel and Oscar – Congratulations to you both, we hope you had an amazing day and a long and happy life together!
