Meet the Hatch Marquee Hire Team!

We love marquees and all the amazing photos that we get sent every year.  However, we are usually so engrossed in the day to day business of marquees that we have never introduced the Hatch Marquee Hire team, who behind the scenes make an open field or lawn into a stunning venue.

So without further delay we better introduce Charlie and Jon, once riggers, these guys are the owners/directors of Hatch Marquee Hire.  They know all there is to know about our marquees and you will meet one of them if you arrange a site visit.  It’s important to us that we meet you during the booking stage, so we can make sure we are providing you with that perfect venue for your day. You will also usually find Jon or Charlie on site during the build of your marquee ensuring that everything is spot on!

Then there is our Hatch Marquee Hire team of riggers! We have a core group of riggers that work for us throughout the year and following the busy Christmas period they are prepping the for the coming season making sure that everything is sorted, clean and ready.  Their combined experience is in the region of 50 rigging years and that makes a huge difference to the quality of the build you get – it is the detail that make a good marquee into an awesome marquee! On top of that we have our seasonal staff, some of which return to us year on year, making up a great team on site.

These are the guys that work all hours and weathers all over Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and West Dorset putting up and taking down, lifting and shifting, hanging and decorating, tweaking and tidying with more lifting and shifting until the job is done!  They really do put their backs into every day, but they also have a lot of laughs along the way visiting some of the most spectacular locations in the South West.

And lastly there is the office which is the home to all the coordinating and organising and where Sarah, Claire and Holly live!  Sarah works away making sure that everything gets to the right place at the right time and is a great source of information, having worked for Hatch Marquees for 7 years.  If you have any queries or tweaks you want to make to your booking she is the one to speak to first – there aren’t many things Sarah can’t get sorted!

Holly is our ‘bean counter’, keeping everyone in check and making sure that everything and everyone gets paid!  And finally there is Claire, who has been at Hatch Marquee Hire for many years! She is a back up to Sarah during the busy summer months, when most of the team are on site, but she also looks after Hatch Marquees social media, website and any other marketing stuff, making sure that you get to see how fab a Hatch Marquee really looks!
