Organising a special event should feel exciting — not overwhelming. At Hatch Marquee Hire, we believe the journey to your perfect event starts long before the marquee is installed. From your very first site visit, through to the final dismantle, our experienced team is here to guide you every step of the way.

The Importance of a Site Visit


One of the most important stages in planning your marquee event is the site visit. This is where your ideas truly begin to come to life.

During your site visit, we’ll take the time to discuss your vision for the day, helping you choose the most suitable marquee layout while exploring the overall style and atmosphere you would like to create. Whether you’re dreaming of a relaxed countryside celebration, a formal wedding reception, or a stylish corporate event, we’ll help tailor the perfect marquee solution to suit your event.


We’ll also show you our extensive portfolio of previous events, giving you inspiration and helping you visualise the different options and finishes available. From flooring and lighting to furniture and interior styling, every detail can be customised to create a truly memorable space.

Just as importantly, we will carefully assess your chosen site and advise on the best positioning for your marquee. Our experience allows us to identify practical considerations early on, ensuring your marquee not only looks stunning but also works perfectly for your guests and suppliers on the day.


Following the site visit, we’ll send you a clear, detailed estimate outlining all items included and associated costs, so you know exactly what to expect with no hidden surprises. Best of all, our site visits are completely free and carry no obligation.


Booking Your Marquee


Once you’re happy to move forward, securing your marquee booking is simple.  We’ll provide a contract itemising every aspect of your event alongside a 30% deposit invoice. As soon as we receive your signed contract and deposit payment, your booking is officially confirmed — giving you peace of mind as you continue planning your special occasion.

Flexibility for Last-Minute Changes


We understand that event planning often evolves as the big day approaches. Guest numbers may change, additional furniture may be required, or you may decide to add extra finishing touches.  Wherever possible, our team will always do their best to accommodate minor amendments to your booking. We simply ask that any final changes, such as guest numbers or furniture requirements, are confirmed at least three weeks before your event to ensure everything runs smoothly.


Final Payments Made Easy


To help keep the planning process organised and stress-free, we issue final invoices 10 days before your event date. We kindly ask for payment to be completed prior to the installation of your marquee.

Installation & Dismantling


Our marquee installations are typically carried out on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with dismantling usually taking place on Mondays and Tuesdays. This schedule allows plenty of time for styling, supplier access, and final preparations before your event begins.

If your venue has specific access restrictions or unique delivery requirements, special arrangements can also be made to ensure installation is completed efficiently and without disruption.

Wedding season 2024 has truly been one to remember. From glorious sunshine to breathtaking venues and beautifully styled marquees, this summer brought unforgettable celebrations from start to finish. One of the best parts of every wedding is seeing how each couple transforms their marquee into something completely unique and personal. Every detail, from the décor to the finishing touches, reflected the personalities and stories of our wonderful brides and grooms.
