It may feel like there is a lot to arrange, however, we will make it very easy. You’ ll be involved in all the important bits, like choosing the layout and style of your marquee. It’s over to us then to make all the arrangements, which is what we do best! We don’t just supply your wedding marquee but all the interior furnishings to provide you with a stunning venue. You can choose from our range of stylish equipment including; tables, chairs, dance floors and lighting, bringing atmosphere and elegance to your marquee. You’re then free to personalise the space with your own creative ideas using; floristry, tableware, bunting, lighting, paper lanterns, whatever colour or style you choose. On the more practical side, we can arrange toilet and generator hire and will liaise with all suppliers ensuring that the preparations run smoothly, leaving you to enjoy build up to your day. On Site Power & Generator Hire

During your site visit we will assess the electrics at your venue/field site. If a generator is required we can manage the sub hire of appropriate equipment. You won’t need to worry about the power supply on your site as we will have everything in hand. Near the time of your event, we will liaise with all your wedding suppliers to ensure that we know exactly what power is required. This means that when your suppliers arrive on site all their power needs are met and in place already.

Toilet Hire

Some wedding marquee sites will need hired toilet facilities. Most people opt for luxury trailer toilets. These self-contained units come in different sizes depending on the number of guests at your event. Assessable/disabled units are also available. We have a range of suppliers that we can use to supply toilet facilities depending on your location. Once booked, we will liaise with them to ensure that their equipment is delivered to site when we are building the marquee. This way we can manage the installation and check any electrical supply.

If you are having a more festival style wedding with camping on site you may require additional toilets or shower units, we can talk through your requirements and get everything in place.

Installing Wedding Marquees

We think it is important that we install your marquee to give you plenty of time to decorate and set things up, just as you want it. With this in mind, we install our wedding marquees on Wednesday & Thursdays (sometimes Tuesdays, if we are really busy) leaving you Friday for florists/caterers and any other suppliers to get set up. We then will be on site to remove the marquee on Monday or Tuesday (sometimes Sundays, if we are particularly busy). We will always keep you up to date with our installation plans and if you have any particular access restrictions we can usually work around them.

What layout do I need for a wedding marquee?

There are many options to choose from when it comes to your wedding marquee layout. However, the best starting point is to decide what sort of catering you would like how you would like your day to work. Most brides and grooms opt for a seated dining and a dancefloor layout which you then may choose to add a bit of extra space as a reception/bar area. This works well if you are having table service or buffet dining. If you are looking for a more relaxed day with a BBQ or festival style catering you may decide that you don’t want a full dining area and would prefer fewer tables or perhaps several sofas for a more chilled seating option. Whatever, your ideas we can work with you to create your perfect space for your day.

Are marquees good for Winter Weddings?

Yes, yes, yes! Each year we supply a number of winter weddings and we love them. At this time of year we recommend a full wooden floor + carpet along with our marquee heaters to keep the space lovely and warm. One of the advantages of having a winter marquee wedding is that you can be add loads of lighting effects which look spectacular, particularly with clear roof marquees. Can I get married in my wedding marquee?

At this time, a legal marriage ceremony has to be undertaken in an appropriately licensed venue. However, each year we have a number of brides and grooms who choose to do the legal formality separately and prior to their wedding day and opt for a ceremony in their marquee with all their guests. A marquee wedding gives you the flexibility to have a ceremony outside if the weather allows or under the cover of your marquee. What size marquee do I need?

When it comes to marquee hire getting the right size of marquee is key. If the marquee is too large it can really impact on the atmosphere, likewise you don’t want your wedding marquee to be too small and the space not accommodate all your guests. Obviously in the UK we have to mindful of this as we aren’t always blessed with the perfect weather! Sizing a marquee can be more of a challenge when you have a set number of guests for an afternoon reception with a large number of guests joining in the evening. But don’t worry we are use to this and have plenty of tricks we can use to ensure that you have the right size marquee for both day and evening guest numbers.

When should I book my marquee ?

Your marquee is the one of the most important elements of your day. So once you have decided on the date of your wedding and booked your ceremony , the next thing is your venue + marquee!
Each year there are certain key dates that get booked up really quickly. We are usually building several wedding marquees each weekend so we have a lot of equipment but don’t get caught out!
