On the north coast of Cornwall on the Camel Estuary, next to the village of Rock is the small hamlet of Porthilly.  Set up above the sandy beach is Porthilly Farm and for a number of years the owners have shared this beautiful location with couples on their wedding day. This Cornwall beach wedding venue, has a level area which is perfect for marquee weddings. It goes without saying it has the most amazing views of the estuary. Dotted with lots of small boats, from low to high tide the outlook is constantly changing as the water ebbs and flows.

 

There is no shortage of space at the venue, so you can really create your dream day with a marquee layout to suit.  With clear marquee windows the stunning views will always be the back drop to your day.  You might like to opt for clear roof panels over the dance floor; they let plenty of light flood into the marquee during the day and by night you’ll be able to dance under the stars!  Generators and toilets can be arranged for you and when you arrive on site your marquee will be fully functional and ready for you to add the final touches!

If you are hoping for a traditional church wedding ceremony, St Michael’s has got to be in one of the most picturesque settings, nestled right on the water’s edge.  There is seating for 96 people and at low water you can access the sandy beach, which is just perfect for your first pictures as a married couple!
